About this Book
Raised in a Christian home in South Wales, Stuart Scammell regularly attended Gospel Hall meetings and trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour at a young age. He developed a love for God's Word and a desire to share the gospel with others. He and his wife, Bethan, have been married since 1993 and are in fellowship with a local assembly in Cardiff, where he serves as an elder.
After many years working as a headteacher, he left secular employment in 2017 to devote himself to full-time Christian service. His ministry includes school assemblies, religious education lessons, Bible exhibitions, workshops and gospel outreach. He has a particular burden for reaching those experiencing homelessness and people in prison, serving as a volunteer chaplain in two prisons in South Wales. Through this work, he seeks to share the love of Christ and encourage others through the truths of God's Word.
The Things Jesus Did series is a collection of beautifully illustrated children's books designed to introduce children aged 4–7 to the miracles of the Lord Jesus recorded in John's Gospel.
Written by Stuart Scammell and illustrated by Feyi Medland, each book tells the story of one of the remarkable miracles Jesus performed, helping young readers discover who He is and why His works are so important. Through clear, engaging storytelling and vibrant illustrations, children learn that these miracles prove that Jesus is the Son of God.
Based on the teaching of John's Gospel, the series helps children understand that the Lord Jesus loves us, died for our sins, and offers salvation to all who trust in Him. Ideal for parents, grandparents, schools, Sunday Schools, and children's Bible teaching, Things Jesus Did provides an enjoyable and accessible introduction to the life, power, and saving work of Jesus Christ.
