Description
Why would the richest Person in the universe choose poverty?
Based on the powerful words of 2 Corinthians 8:9, He Became Poor explains the remarkable love of the Lord Jesus Christ, who left the glory of heaven and came into this world to save sinners. This attractive four-page gospel tract presents the heart of the Christian message in a clear, simple, and compelling way.
Through Christ's willingness to become poor for our sake, readers discover how His sacrifice on the cross provides forgiveness, peace with God, and eternal riches that can never fade. Ideal for personal witnessing, outreach, door-to-door distribution, and evangelistic events, this tract challenges readers to consider their greatest need and God's wonderful provision in Christ.
A thought-provoking Christian gospel tract that points readers to the One who became poor so that they might receive the riches of God's salvation.
About this Tract
Jack Hay was commended to the grace of God by the assembly in Prestwick, Scotland, in 1972. For many years, he was involved primarily in pioneer evangelism in the County of Perth, Scotland. In the late 1980s, he began travelling more extensively among the assemblies in the four nations of the UK, engaging in both Gospel work and Bible teaching. This ministry has continued to the present day.
From the mid-1990s, he began receiving invitations to minister overseas. In particular, since 2006, he has sought to visit the island of Sri Lanka twice a year, a country that remains especially close to his heart.
He and his wife, Lillian, have been married for over 50 years. They have two married daughters and six grandchildren.
