The "Focus On" series is a collection of practical and Bible-based booklets designed to help young Christians grow in their understanding of key aspects of the Christian faith and daily living. Covering subjects such as assurance of salvation, fellowship, baptism, devotion to Christ, head coverings, Christian love, Bible study, separation, the Lord’s Supper, and church fellowship, these accessible guides provide clear teaching rooted firmly in Scripture.
Written in a simple and encouraging style, the series is ideal for new believers, personal study, discipleship, youth work, and one-to-one Bible teaching, helping readers develop a deeper appreciation of God’s Word and a closer walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
John Grant (d. 2020) was born into a Christian family in Glasgow, Scotland, and was received into assembly fellowship at Kilmacolm, Renfrewshire, at the age of eighteen. In 1991, he left secular employment to devote himself to full-time service for the Lord, becoming a widely respected gospel preacher, Bible teacher and Christian author.
His ministry took him throughout the United Kingdom, North America and the Far East, where he faithfully preached the gospel and expounded the Word of God. He served as editor of Believer's Magazine for seventeen years from 1999 and contributed extensively to Christian literature. His publications include Living for God, a commentary on Exodus in the What the Bible Teaches series, and the John Ritchie Family Series. Remembered for his faithful ministry and commitment to biblical teaching, John Grant went to be with his Saviour on 23 January 2020.
