Encounters

In Encounters, Nathanael Reed takes a thoughtful and engaging look at sixteen of the healing miracles of the Lord Jesus Christ, presenting each one as a personal “encounter” with the Saviour.

Drawing upon the Gospel accounts, Reed brings each scene vividly to life, providing helpful historical and biblical background before considering the spiritual lessons these encounters hold for believers today. Each study leads the reader to “the feet of the Great Physician,” encouraging a deeper appreciation of the compassion, power and glory of Christ.

The sixteen miracles are arranged into four sections—All Manner of Diseases, Women Healed by Jesus, Lepers Healed, and The Blind See—and are accompanied by useful charts, comparisons and informative features that encourage further Bible study.

Accessible, devotional and rich in practical application, Encounters reveals not only the miraculous power of the Lord Jesus but also His tender care for individuals in their need. It is a book designed to deepen the reader’s knowledge of Christ and encourage believers to reflect His grace and compassion in their own encounters with others.
