9 Beatitudes

What does it truly mean to be blessed? In The Nine Beatitudes, Craig Munro explores the opening teachings of the Lord Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount, recorded in Matthew chapter 5. Each Beatitude reveals the character and conduct that should mark those who follow Christ, challenging worldly attitudes and encouraging a life of humility, righteousness, mercy and devotion to God.

Examining each blessing individually, the author explains its spiritual meaning, practical application and promised reward, continually directing attention to Christ as the perfect example. With accessible chapters, Scripture references and space for personal reflection, this book provides valuable material for personal Bible study and group discussion.
