Collection: Jack Hunter

Jack Hunter was born in Coatbridge, Scotland, in 1916 and was saved through the preaching of Jack Atkinson in 1937. He was received into fellowship at Shiloh Hall, Coatbridge, where he developed a deep love for the study and teaching of God's Word. In 1970, after many years working with Christian publisher John Ritchie, he was commended to full-time service in the Lord's work.

Widely respected as a gifted Bible teacher and expositor, he was known for his clear, devotional and practical ministry. He preached and taught extensively throughout the UK, Ireland, the USA and Canada, while remaining devoted to his local assembly in Kilmarnock. He also contributed commentaries on Galatians and 1 Corinthians to the What the Bible Teaches series. He continued faithfully in the Lord's service until his death in 1994.
