Harold Paisley

Harold S. Paisley was a highly respected evangelist, Bible teacher and faithful servant of the Lord, originally from Northern Ireland. His gospel ministry extended across the British Isles and North America, where he became widely known for his earnest preaching and Christ-centred exposition of Scripture. Following numerous visits to Canada, he moved there with his wife and family in 1966, making it a base for his continuing service.

His preaching was characterised by simplicity, sincerity and a deep concern for the salvation of souls. Many came to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ through his gospel meetings, while believers were encouraged by his warm, devotional ministry and evident love for the Saviour. Known for his kindness, generosity and personal interest in others, he was equally appreciated in the home and on the platform. His faithful service and Christ-exalting ministry left a lasting spiritual influence upon assemblies and individuals throughout the English-speaking world.
