Collection: David Petterson

Saved at the age of eight through John 3:16, David Petterson developed a burden for gospel work during his university years, spending summers assisting full-time gospel preachers. In 1994, he began conducting gospel tent meetings while continuing in secular employment.

He and his wife, Alison, who was saved as a teenager, were married in 1999 and commended to full-time gospel work from the Hickory Gospel Hall in North Carolina in 2001. They began outreach in Denver, NC, where an assembly was established in September 2007.

In 2009, they began visiting Amish families near Pearisburg, Virginia, holding weekly Bible studies that led to numerous conversions and baptisms. Despite being shunned by their former community, these believers faithfully travelled to Denver for fellowship and teaching. In October 2011, a new assembly was established at Crandon Gospel Hall near Pearisburg.

He and Alison are grateful for the privilege of serving the Lord and witnessing His grace in the lives of others. They have five children: Katie, Micah, Kimberly, Jenna, and Avery.
