Description

St Andrew is the patron saint of Scotland. The St Andrew’s Cross is Scotland’s flag. It has been said that the ancestors of the Scots were Scythians, who lived in the region of the Black Sea and who, in the first century, first heard the gospel from the lips of St Andrew himself.
It is also said that in the fourth century a monk named Regulus brought some of the bone of Andrew and they were buried in the town later called
St Andrews.
Andrew lived centuries ago, but what he needed, we need. It was Andrew who became a disciple of the Lord Jesus and he then brought his brother
Simon Peter to Christ and would bring others also. He had found the Lamb of God and the forgiveness of sins found in Christ alone.
